Vegan MOFO is off and running, and we are really looking forward to posting all kinds of recipes, news, pictures, and anything other vegan-themed topics we may come across.  For Day 2, let’s just get the whole “Where do you get your protein” thing out of the way so we can move on to more interesting topics.  Protein.  We get plenty.  How about you?

    Butterbeans (5.8 grams of protein per serving) and chickpeas (7 grams of protein per 1/2 cup serving). Two of my favorites!
